First Lecture on Game Design

Within TOSMI, I made a presentation on game design. It was targeted towards artists that were learning how to make games with Blender. We also wanted to pull them away from the desire to chase photorealism. All this appeared to be an interesting challenge, because of the limitations on what an artist could do to the Blender game engine and the fact that we wanted to stay away from plain modding and actually make them think about gameplay.

I am not entirely happy with the presentation, but it turned out to be a pretty good talk. So here are the slides (I'm too lazy to actually turn them into a slidecast):
